National Scrapbooking Day

It is a blechy day here in Southern Alberta....I have a few minutes and thought that I needed to post something. Well this weekend is National Scrapbooking Day (find the history in the link) Well it is the first Saturday in May. Which happens to be May 1st this year. Alot of places have tons of sales on over the last couple of days and all weekend! So check out you favorite store and post it in the comments what the best deal you got this weekend or favorite kits.....What ever lets just share!

Since my boys are heading off to the final Beaver camp (Scouts) of the year (and I am hoping they enjoy it as it is supposed to rain (and maybe snow) all weekend into next week!!!) that the girlie will let me get in some pages and some shopping for great deals and kits!

I can't wait to see your replies and awesomeness this weekend!!!

New

Dawn of Snowsmoon Designs is releasing some new kits this week and here is a look at the pages I came up with...

This first kit is called Irish Eyes....it is gorgeous...I can't wait to create many more layouts with this kit.
This kit should be released by the end of the week.

Here is my layout of my daughter's baptism.

The next kit is Affection...I don't have the kit image to show you what you get but man is this a super cute kit too. I am so blessed to be able to be a part of Dawn's CT.

This layout is of Easter this year when we got home from our trip....my daughter wanted this certain book but I would not let her buy it. I had a sneaking suspicion that the Easter Bunny was bringing it too!! Easter Bunny's and Mom's sure think alike!

BOTP.....Sounds important?

Good day all.....After a long day swimming with the kiddo's then a neighbor kid came over (well just showed up)so the boys played the cube all afternoon and I was downloading and organizing on the big green beast....yep that's what I call my laptop!

Anyway as I was getting everything packaged up for my second official freebie here. Getting the files together it came out to be BOTP....It sounds like something important or contagious not sure which! LOL!

Anyway about a month ago we got the ultimate in hot air popcorn poppers.....and of course I have to scrap it!

This kit is from Mel_h Designs...took me awhile to track it down....man I have had this kit for a LONG time!!!

Well this popper is no longer with us s it almost started on fire....we had smoke and smell....not good! We now have a new red one...maybe will have to scrap about that one too!

Brag Book

I love making brag books but if you life is a nutz as mine is.....here what I have been doing. I joined a Brag Book Challenge HERE. I have done 2 and starting my third this month.
So what what is this challenge all about?

You will get a brag book sized kit that coordinates with Sara's kit, My World. That means each page is only 4x6 and all elements are sized to fit the pages.

You are more than welcome to use the provided brag book kit and/or My World from my store, but you can only use items from these kits to make your brag book page.
*You may contribute one or two pages - please no more than two.

How easy is that???? Super duper. The first challenge I joined I got over 20+ pages and this last one was 17 or something like that!

Project 52

I have been in a year long project group called Project 52 started by Snowmoon's Designs. I am so so so happy that I joined this not only to meet some great people but it has kept me on my toes designing for the year!

Well its late and I want to get in some of my shows before I crash...and well no school so need to plan a few things!
